Hi, my name is Virginia Herrera Bangerter, i enjoy drawing, illustrating and animating.

I have been working in the publishing and audiovisual industries for nearly 20 years, creating artwork for animation, character design, storyboards, and illustration. I have contributed to books and audiovisual projects, and I am currently part of Estudio DIA, a shared creative space with Mariel Sanhueza where we develop animations with special attention to art and storytelling.

In my personal work, characters often appear in connection with nature, dancing or exploring spaces that serve as metaphors for their own emotions and reflections. Although I primarily work digitally, I greatly enjoy working with paper and traditional media.

Hola, me llamo Virginia Herrera Bangerter, me gusta dibujar, ilustrar y animar.
Trabajo hace casi 20 años en los rubros editorial y audiovisual, creando arte para animación, diseño de personajes, storyboards e ilustración. He participado en libros y proyectos audiovisuales, y hoy soy parte de Estudio DIA, un espacio compartido con Mariel Sanhueza donde desarrollamos animaciones con especial cuidado en el arte y la narrativa.

En mi trabajo personal suelen aparecer personajes que se relacionan con la naturaleza, que bailan o exploran espacios que suelen ser metáfora de sus propias emociones y reflexiones. Aunque suelo trabajar en digital, disfruto mucho el papel y los materiales tradicionales.
